KD Poolscapes was
formed in 1984. As a specialty remodeler, our primary focus then,
was
designing and building outdoor "poolscapes" around inground pools.
Today the scope of our projects range from personal backyard
resorts
to indoor fitness and recreation areas.
Over the years we have grown to be a leading innovator in the
outdoor home improvement industry. Our work has been featured in
Wisconsin Home Gallery, Exclusively Yours, CNI Newspapers,
Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel, and Oualified Remodeler. We have also had
photographs
of our work published in: Deck & Patio Styles.

BIOGRAPHICAL INFO
 Ken DePratt- President
Graduated from Pulaski
High
School in 1971. Entered the building trades and worked as a
laborer
for Local 113. In 1975 he was indentured to the state as an
ironworker apprentice for Local 8. He received his journeymans
book
in 1980. In 1983 Ken started KD Fencing, Ltd. He quickly found his
niche in the inground pool industry. As the company added services
over the years he found that the company had outgrown its name.
To answer the companies growing needs a division call KD
Poolscapes was formed. For the past 16 years he has worked to
develop a company that provides complete turn-key services to its
customers. Currently, Ken serves on the Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council
and serves on the organizations Ethics Committee.
 Lisa DePratt- Vice President
Graduated from Waterford High School
in
1982. Received an Associate Degree in Visual Communications from
Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1985. Joined KD Fencing, Ltd.
full
time upon graduation. As the companies focus on pools increased,
it
was in the companies best interest to add landscape services. A
degree in Horticulture from Gateway Technical College was
attained in
1995. Lisa has designed over 600 complete inground pool
environments
around Southeast Wisconsin. To date she is responsible for
designing
12 award winning Outdoor Living projects. Her pet projects have
included designing Nature Centers for 2 Racine area elementary
schools.
